MANY great words of wisdom have been given throughout history. One message of conviction came from the famous commencement speech that Winston Churchill gave when he addressed Harrow, one of Britain's leading schools. He said, "... never give in, never give in, never, never, never-in nothing, great or small, large or petty - never give in except to convictions of honour and good sense. Never yield to force; never yield to the apparently overwhelming might of the enemy."
The reason people give up so easily is because they focus on how far they have to go instead of how far they have already gotten. Keeping your eyes affixed on the goal allows one to see clearly and create destiny. A successful future is always defined by pure intent and a high level of commitment.
Remember, if you don't go after what you want, you'll never have it. If you don't ask, the answer is always, "No!" If you don't step forward, you'll always remain in the background. Linda Sumner Urza, written for onefineday11.blogspot.com
